   Peter Hedström,

Peter Hedström is an Official Fellow of Sociology at Nuffield College , Oxford .  His research interests include analytical sociology, action-based theorising, network analysis, micro-macro links, and quantitative methods appropriate for analysing such processes.  Current projects focus on social interactions and labour market processes; networks and the diffusion of social movements; and principles of analytical theorising.  He is the author of numerous articles in leading journals, he is a fellow of the European Academy of Sociology, he has been President of the Swedish Sociological Association, and he has been the editor of Acta Sociologica and associate editor of American Journal of Sociology, Annual Review of Sociology, and Rationality and Society. He received his BA from Stockholm University and his PhD from Harvard University.
